Polymeric Surge Arrester

Surge arrester is the most advanced over-voltage protector in the world. Its core element is the metal oxide varistor (MOV). Massive productions of surge arrester(MOA), either with porcelain or polymeric housing, are suitable in the systems of power generation, power transmission, power transformation, and power distribution under AC 220kV and below.

    Conditions of Use

    1 .Ambient air temperature within the range of -40℃ to +40℃℃

    2 .Altitude above sea level not exceeding 2,000m;

    3.Frequency of the A.C.power supply being 50Hz or 60Hz;

    4 . Power frequency voltage is applied continuously between the terminals of the arrester, not exceeding its continuous operating voltage.

    5. Maximum wind speed not exceeding 35m/s:

    6 . The earthquake intensity does not exceed 7 degrees.
